Bech-Bruun handling assignments for the public sector and public-sector enterprises is not a new development. As far back as 1946, Supreme Court lawyer H. Bech-Bruun was one of the principal architects behind SAS, which was set up as a Nordic airline company by the Danish, Swedish and Norwegian states.
Today, Bech-Bruun handles many tasks for regions, municipalities and public enterprises. Approximately, 75 lawyers and junior lawyers across business areas handle both small and large assignments for the public sector. We are highly specialised, deliver very high quality, and we often spend less time on handling assignments than other advisers. Furthermore, we have not only political but also commercial understanding, which is highly useful in the public sector when for instance entering into agreements with private enterprises.
Relevant practice areas include:
- Labour and Employment
- Energy & Supply
- EU & Competition
- Real Estate & Construction
- Intellectual Property
- Insolvency & Restructuring
- IT & Digitisation, including Data Protection
- Dispute Resolution
- Public Law & Administration
We assist with specific tasks within each area of expertise and perform as a sounding board in the ongoing case handling. We are also highly experienced handling major projects and legal inquiries.
