Bech-Bruun has assisted the owners of SYBO Games on the sale of SYBO to Miniclip, owned by Chinese Tencent.

SYBO Games, the creator and publisher of Subway Surfers, has been acquired by gaming company Miniclip.

Subway Surfers, a mobile game launched in 2012, has more than 150 million active players and more than three billion downloads, making it one of the most popular mobile games worldwide. Subway Surfers was created just over a decade ago by Bodie Jahn-Mulliner and Sylvester Rishøj and Bech-Bruun has been advising the founders and the company through most of the journey.

Miniclip, who is owned by Tencent, has launched several of the world's most downloaded games, and today they have active users in more than 195 countries.

The transaction is the largest so far in the Danish mobile game industry.

Bech-Bruun's team was headed by Jakob Kristensen and Thomas Frøbert. Bech-Bruun assisted SYBO Games throughout the acquisition process, and we congratulate all parties on the transaction.
