Bech-Bruun has assisted DBAG Fund VIII, a private equity fund advised by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG, listed in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, on its acquisition of Dantherm from Procuritas Capital Investors V.
The market for portable and fixed heating, cooling, drying, ventilation and air cleaning (HVAC) solutions is growing at a steady annual rate of between four and six per cent. Dantherm is one of the leading providers in this market, where growth is driven by climate change and the wellness trend as well as stricter regulations for more efficient energy use. Dantherm operates three main production facilities in Denmark, Italy and the UK, respectively, and employs around 600 people with 2020 sales of EUR 148 million.
Thomas Gjøl-Trønning and Anders Hagstrøm have headed Bech-Bruun's team and assisted DBAG Fund VIII throughout the transaction process.
We appreciate the combined efforts of all parties involved: Allen & Overy, Linklaters, Shearman, Walder Wyss, King & Wood Mallesons and Gleiss Lutz.
