Rasmus Schmidt specialises in complex commercial litigation and arbitration. He has significant experience handling large and business-critical disputes, particularly within M&A transactions, shareholders’ agreements, commercial contracts, and management and auditor liability.

In recent years, Rasmus has represented a diverse range of clients, including private equity funds, insurance companies, general housing organisations, state-owned enterprises, public authorities, banks, pension funds, foreign companies, trade associations, as well as major and mid-sized Danish businesses.

He has extensive trial experience before the Danish courts and regularly conducts arbitration before the Danish Institute of Arbitration, SCC Arbitration Institute, and in ad hoc settings. Rasmus is also frequently appointed as arbitrator.

In addition, Rasmus is a dedicated speaker and lecturer within dispute resolution and board liability, and he has previously lectured on Property and Obligations Law 1 as well as Tort and Contract Law at the University of Copenhagen.
