Maria Kragelund Axelsen advises Danish and non-Danish enterprises on public-law regulation of the energy sector.
Maria specialises in regulatory energy issues and mainly advises on authorisation procedures, the regulatory framework and subsidy schemes in renewable energy projects, including solar, wind and biogas projects.
Maria also has considerable experience working with large offshore energy infrastructure projects, such as offshore pipelines and wind farms, including environmental permitting procedures.
Maria is in charge of performing the renewable energy knowledge work in the Bech-Bruun energy department and is accordingly updated on the most recent and continuous political and legislative initiatives in the field.
Maria has taught administrative law at the University of Copenhagen and also advises on administrative law aspects of importance to energy enterprises.
