Camilla Søbjerg Nielsen works with insurance law, the law of damages and procedural law, including court and arbitration proceedings. Camilla specialises particularly in insurance law, holding a PhD in insurance law from the University of Copenhagen.
Camilla assists insurance companies and corporate insurance customers in all types of cases relating to insurance cover in all areas of indemnity insurance. In addition, she renders advice to insurance companies and insurance mediators in Denmark and abroad on regulatory insurance law, including the rules on insurance activities and insurance mediation as well as the sale of insurance products.
Her expertise also includes rendering advice on most types of liability in damages and contractual liability, such as D&O liability and professional liability of advisers, maritime and transport liability as well as product liability and liability for defects in commercial relationships.
Furthermore, Camilla advises public institutions on damages and insurance.
Finally, Camilla has contributed to some of Bech-Bruun's most significant court proceedings on damages and insurance.
