Charlotte Bagger Tranberg specialises in data protection law and digitalisation

Charlotte Bagger Tranberg worked intensively with data protection and digitalization for more than 20 years. She completed her PhD in data protection law in 2006 and is presently one of the leading data protection and digital law specialists in Denmark.

Charlotte specialises in all areas of data protection law, including the processing of personal data in complex systems or applying new technologies, such as AI, Big Data and biometrics, ensuring that data protection law interacts with in a wider digital context.

Charlotte has in-depth knowledge of the practical implementation of compliance projects, including drafting and implementing Binding Corporate Rules (BCR), risk assessments and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIA).

Charlotte is one of the leading forces behind the development of a number of the legal tech products developed by the Bech-Bruun company .legal, e.g. DPA Service.

In addition to her PhD, Charlotte holds a Master of Business Law from Aalborg University where she started her career as a researcher and teacher. She is now an external sought speaker.
