Björn Brügger is a Senior Associate in Bech-Bruun's estate planning group and Bech-Bruun's Family Office Desk.

Björn specialises in advising families on estate planning involving companies, personally-owned enterprises and family-owned assets. This applies to Danish as well as non-Danish families and assets. His advice includes organisation of corporate structures, valuation, tax aspects and family law matters (wills, marriage contracts and powers of attorney).

Björn also provides advice on these aspects in situations where a person is deceased. He has extensive experience providing advice on and administering the estates of deceased persons and he strives to ensure that the family also in this difficult situation gets the best advice in order to ensure appropriate estate planning in a caring and safe space.

Björn is a trained mediator. Accordingly, he has expertise when it comes to facilitating solutions in case of major or minor family disputes.

As part of Bech-Bruun’s estate planning group, Björn gives presentations and participates in professional development days in his area of expertise, just as he is the author of multiple articles on the special aspects of estate planning and private client relationships in an international perspective.
