Anne Mette Seest specialises in insurance law and the law of damages. She is extensively experienced in advising insurance companies and private enterprises on contractual and non-contractual liability, product liability, causal connection and statements of damages. In addition, Anne Mette has extensive experience in pension law and has represented pension providers in several cases on critical illness and incapacity for work.
She also assists several self-insured municipalities in cases on liability for roads and other areas, vicarious liability, public authority liability, etc.
Anne Mette is a highly experienced advocate having conducted several hundred district and high court cases as well as a number of cases of general public importance, including before the Danish Supreme Court. Her work inside and outside the court room has earned her much recognition in Denmark and abroad and made her a popular legal adviser.
Anne Mette is appointed external examiner at the practical litigation tests of the Danish Bar and Law Society, and she also teaches at Bech-Bruun's Public-Sector Professional Development Day.
