For more than 10 years, Anne Skovfoged Melgaard has advised on marketing law and intellectual property law, including trademarks, designs and domain names.

Anne is highly experienced in rendering advice to Danish and non-Danish enterprises on trademarks, design management and enforcement. Her work includes, among other things, drafting of IP strategies, legal matters in relation to branding, including achievement of well-known status, clearing of rights, filing of applications, administrative enforcement in the form of opposition and cancellation proceedings as well as enforcement of the law on intellectual property rights.

Moreover, Anne has conducted a great number of domain name proceedings before both Danish and non-Danish domain complaints boards and successfully handled a large number of take-down notices on social media platforms in Europe and in Asia.

She also assists in the acquisition of and negotiation for transfer of trademark and domain name rights and the drafting of IPR agreements, including co-existence agreements, licence agreements, transfer agreements, etc.
