Anne Skovfoged Melgaard has for more than 15 years advised on all legal aspects of intellectual property and marketing law.

Anne has extensive experience advising both Danish and international undertakings on the protection and enforcement of trademark and design rights. This includes preparing IP strategies, clearing rights, filing applications and handling general legal matters related to branding – including advice on well-known trademarks. She also advises on the negotiation and conclusion of licence agreements and other intellectual property agreements, administrative enforcement in the form of opposition and cancellation proceedings and legal enforcement of IP rights.

In addition, Anne has conducted multiple domain name cases before both Danish and non-Danish domain name boards of appeal. She has also successfully handled a large number of take-down notices on social media platforms in Europe and Asia.

Anne also has extensive experience advising on marketing law, with particular focus on communicating green marketing and ESG in accordance with the Danish Marketing Practices Act (markedsføringsloven).
