On 1 January 2019, Bech-Bruun admitted lawyers Susanne Stougaard, Jacob Schall Holberg, Anders Hørlyck Jensen and Martin Allan Christensen as partners in Bech-Bruun.
We are celebrating the New Year with an expansion of Bech-Bruun's group of partners. As of 1 January 2019, Susanne Stougaard, Jacob Schall Holberg, Anders Hørlyck Jensen and Martin Allan Christensen have replaced their senior associate titles with that of partners of Bech-Bruun.
The four new partners are all known in Bech-Bruun, and they each contribute with substantial expertise in their areas.
Susanne Stougaard specialises in compliance in the area of data protection law. Susanne is highly experienced in handling international data transfers, data protection law security breaches and control of suppliers. With a unique expertise she assists clients in the preparation of data protection law analyses, mapping of personal data, implementation of the GDPR and data protection law due diligence in connection with business transfers. Susanne has a background in employment and labour law and is thus thoroughly familiar with HR-related personal data. In April 2017, Berlingske Business appointed Susanne one of the 100 greatest talents under the age of 35 in the Danish corporate sector.
Jacob Schall Holberg specialises in public-law issues and dispute resolution. He has worked with these areas for more than 15 years and has this way gained considerable experience in procedural rules and the conduct of legal proceedings. His experience provides him with a solid foundation for handling complex negotiations for authorities and private players, and over the past years, Jacob has won multiple cases of general public importance before the Danish Supreme Court. Jacob also holds an LL.M. from Columbia University, is admitted to the New York bar and has previously been an acting high court judge at the High Court of Eastern Denmark.
Anders Hørlyck Jensen has extensive experience with energy and infrastructure projects and specialises in particular in the drafting and negotiation of complex infrastructure contracts with particular focus on the offshore wind sector. Anders has, among other things, assisted clients on offshore wind projects in Europe, the USA, Japan and Taiwan.
Martin Allan Christensen is highly skilled in and works primarily with M&A and company law. Among other things, he works with drafting and negotiation of preliminary transaction documents, considerations as to structure, implementation and coordination of due diligence, completion of M&A processes as well as the handling of W&I insurance process.
