Dan Bjerg Geary er specialiseret inden for den tekniske IP-ret og komplekse kontrakter. Han har stor erfaring med håndhævelse i krænkelsessager.
Med stor indsigt og strategisk sans repræsenterer han danske og udenlandske virksomheder, bl.a. i forbindelse med at forhandle og indgå licensaftaler og andre immaterialretlige aftaler vedrørende patenter og teknologi.
Dan har i mere end 15 år arbejdet med vedvarende energi, særligt inden for vindindustrien, både offshore og onshore samt også inden for Power-to-X (p-t-x).
Han har indgående erfaring med komplekse kontrakter i Danmark og udlandet, herunder FIDIC.
Dan er en af landets førende franchiseadvokater og er medlem af bestyrelsen i Franchise Danmark. Han har arbejdet systematisk med franchising og forhandlerforhold i mere end et årti og rådgiver en række af landets førende kæder.
Dan har også stor erfaring i beskyttelse af forretningshemmeligheder, know-how og intern compliance, og han rådgiver desuden om markedsføringsret og spilleret.
Dans høje faglighed og internationale forståelse for det immaterialretlige område er yderligere funderet i en LL.M. i immaterialret fra WIPO Academy fra Universitá degli Studio di Torino i Italien.
Dan har tidligere undervist på Aarhus Universitet og underviser jævnligt på kurser for industrien og advokatstanden om bl.a. immaterialretlige forhold og kontrakter.
