Challenges and requirements
The financial crisis and increasing globalisation are causing the winds of change to blow through the professional services sector. Clients require value creation and innovation, as well as strategic and commercial awareness. Moreover, there is an increased focus on employee recruitment and retention, as the turnover of highly educated staff and/or partners is particularly costly in this knowledge based sector. Professional advisers require, in particular, advice in relation to commercial and employment law matters, which enables them to conduct and develop their business relatively undisturbed, while focusing on realising their business strategies and dealing with professional challenges.
How we can help
As a full service law firm, we have many years experience in advising Denmark's leading consultancy firms, as well as numerous small and medium-sized consultancy firms on a wide range of legal and commercial matters.
When advising on ordinary contractual matters, we ensure that the firm's risks are assessed in accordance with its risk profile. We have, moreover, considerable experience in drafting partnership agreements and other forms of agreements between the owners of consultancy firms, and can, therefore, ensure that the contractual provisions concerning, e.g. remuneration/the distribution of profits support the chosen business model.
We prioritise building long-term relationships with our clients, but also advise clients on an ad hoc basis, e.g. in connection with mergers or changes in ownership. Our particular strength lies in our knowledge of the sector and the challenges it faces, as well as our astute commercial awareness.
