EU harmonised technical conditions of use to promote the availability of wireless high-speed Internet
EU harmonised technical conditions of use for the allocation of radio frequencies in the 800 MHz frequency band are to boost the expansion of wireless high-speed Internet services. Frequencies will become available in connection with the switchover to digital terrestrial TV.

Liberalisation of the Danish gaming market
Four bills introduced in the Danish Parliament, Folketinget, result in an amendment of the gaming legislation and a regulated, partial liberalisation of the gaming market in Denmark. As of 1 January 2011, Danish and international commercial gaming providers will be able to obtain licences for the provision of betting services and online casino games.

The European Court of Justice (ECJ) has ruled that flight passengers have the right to be compensated by the air carrier where they reach their final destination three hours or more after the arrival time originally scheduled by the air carrier unless the delay was caused by extraordinary circumstances. This gives delayed flight passengers the same rights as flight passengers whose flight is cancelled.
