Bech-Bruun assists on sale of CULT to Royal Unibrew
Bech-Bruun has assisted the owners of CULT on their sale of the group to Royal Unibrew.
Brian Sørensen, Carsten Stokholm Mikkelsen and Claus Slot Krøyer, the owners of CULT, have today sold the entire CULT group to Royal Unibrew.
The transaction is subject to approval by various competition authorities. It is expected that the transaction will be finally completed after the summer vacation.
CULT makes and sells several well-known energy drinks such as CULT, MOKAÏ, SHAKER and modjo. The products are sold in all major supermarkets, at petrol stations and in more than 500 night clubs and bars in Denmark.
Royal Unibrew is a listed company, which, among other things, makes, sells and distributes beverages with focus on brands such as Royal, Ceres, Faxe, Faxe Kondi, Egekilde, Heineken and Pepsi. Royal Unibrew’s primary markets are Northern Europe, Italy, Germany and the Baltic countries with revenues in 2017 exceeding DKK 6.3bn as well as approx. 2,300 employees.
