Bech-Bruun assists in the sale of Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S to the Polygon Group
Bech-Bruun has assisted the owners of Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S in selling all the shares in the company to Polgygon A/S.
Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S is a Danish nationwide enterprise employing some 230 people at 12 centres around the country. Its core activities include property damage restoration and repair work of damage caused by water, fire and climate.
Polygon is an expert in property damage detection and restoration and forms part of a global enterprise with a staff of around 2,900 in 13 countries. Polygon A/S is owned by the Triton funds through Polygon AB in Sweden. The Polygon Group's acquisition of Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S forms part of the Group's aim to consolidate its market position in Denmark.
The owner and managing director of Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S, Yassine Ben Hamouda, will take on the position of managing director of the merged entity after the acquisition has been completed. A proportion of the purchase sum is payable in the form of new shares in Polygon A/S, , which will result in key management of Dansk Bygningskontrol A/S acquiring 30% of the share capital and voting rights in Polygon A/S through a jointly owned company.
