ATP acquires shares in 16 shopping centres from Danica
Danica Ejendomsselskab ApS (Danica) sells 50% of its ownership interests in 16 Danish shopping centres to Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension (ATP). The shopping centres are located throughout Denmark, with the majority of them in the Greater Copenhagen area.
ATP has purchased half of Danica's shares in 16 shopping centres with a total market value in the double-digit billion range. Danica and ATP will set up a joint venture.
The 16 shopping centres house primarily retail premises; office premises account for only a limited proportion of the leases (and residential premises for an even smaller proportion).
Completion of the transaction is subject to approval by the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority.
Bech-Bruun assisted ATP throughout the entire process.
