Mærsk sells Esvagt A/S to 3i and AMP
Esvagt, leading provider of offshore safety and support at sea in and around the North Sea and the Barents Sea, has been sold to 3i og AMP at a price of DKK 4.1bn. Bech-Bruun has acted as legal adviser to the seller throughout the entire sales process.
Esvagt was established in 1981 and has provided various services relating to offshore activities since then. Today, Esvagt is the leading provider of offshore safety and support services, primarily in and around the North Sea and the Barents Sea. The shipping company has more than 900 employees, and its fleet numbers 43 vessels with two more scheduled for delivery.
