Bech-Bruun advises on cleantech merger

Bech-Bruun advises Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster on its merger with Lean Energy Cluster. The result is CLEAN, which aims at promoting green growth and job creation in Denmark as well as supporting global exports of Danish cleantech solutions.

On 9 may 2014, the two Danish cleantech clusters Lean Energy Cluster (LEC) and Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster (CCC) entered into a merger agreement to create CLEAN.

Bech-Bruun advised Copenhagen Cleantech Cluster during the merger process. Bech-Bruun is a core member of CCC (now CLEAN) with Bech-Bruun partner Jens Chr. Hesse Rasmussen on its board.

CLEAN’s overall objective is to promote green growth and job creation in Denmark. The cluster will be a hub for the development of new cleantech solutions bringing together Danish businesses, research institutions and public authorities. CLEAN will moreover strengthen international focus on integrated cleantech solutions as well as support global exports of Danish cleantech solutions.
