BEC sells ALOC A/S
Bech-Bruun’s client BEC (Bankernes EDB Central) has sold its subsidiary ALOC A/S to Swedish listed company Vitec, a fast growing software company.
BEC acquired ALOC A/S from Swedish Bonnier in 2005. Monday 30 June, ALOC A/S was returned to Swedish ownership when it was sold to Vitec Software Group AB.
ALOC provides business-critical systems solutions to the financial sector within portfolio and risk management, treasury and stock exchange trading.
"The stock exchange announcement from Vitec states, among other things, that the fact that Aloc is now getting a long-term and experienced owner with a proven track record is good news for Aloc’s customers and thereby the entire industry in Denmark. Over the past years, Aloc has seen extremely positive developments and is today a very well run company. Vitec’s 30-year experience as a software provider is a guarantee for continued stable developments in Aloc”, says Kurt Nørrisgaard, CEO of BEC, and former chairman of the board of Aloc and currently one of the company’s major customers.
Bech-Bruun has assisted BEC in the sales process.
