Bech-Bruun advises Jyske Bank on sale of Silkeborg Data A/S
On 9 December 2013, Jyske Bank concluded the sale of its subsidiary Silkeborg Data A/S to the Danish private equity fund Axcel. Bech-Bruun assisted Jyske Bank throughout the entire process.
Following a busy weekend of productive negotiations, on the night of 9 December 2013, Jyske Bank and the Danish private equity fund Axcel signed an agreement on Jyske Bank’s sale of Silkeborg Data A/S.
Silkeborg Data A/S develops payroll and staff administration systems to the public sector in Denmark. The sale took place with a view to giving Silkeborg Data A/S the best possibilities of continued development, realising its full potential.
Bech-Bruun represented Jyske Bank and has rendered advice during the entire negotiation process.
The sale was a structured sale with many interested buyers and bids. Ultimately, Axcel’s bid was the most attractive.
Conforming to the stock-exchange usages, Jyske Bank published the sale on Tuesday, 10 December, following the final adoption by the board of directors of the sales agreement Tuesday afternoon. The sale still awaits approval by the Danish competition authorities.
