Starting local going global: Expatriation Compliance and management seminar

Time and place
27 September 2012 , 9:00 - 11:00

Worldwide legal employment regulation is becoming ever more complex, requiring companies acting on a global scale to continually strive for higher levels of compliance – both in relation to employment regulation and requirements from authorities. Simultaneously, cross border corporations expect to benefit financially from secondments making them a key to many foreign assignments.

Both employer and employee expect the HR departments to deliver the results, and today managing staff on secondment requires an in-depth knowledge of employment, tax, social security and immigration regulation. The potential consequences of not abiding to the rules can affect the entire organization.

Bech-Bruun and IPM assist the HR departments within each of their respective areas of expertise. Bech-Bruun specialise in the employment and corporate legal requirements. IPM specialise in home and host country Tax and Social Security and Immigration compliance as well as International Assignments administration.

To celebrate our unique Scandinavian partnership, we would like to invite you to an informal seminar focusing on the legal challenges and administrative aspects of inbound and outbound expatriation management and how compliance helps your HR department to focus and deliver results – boosting the Return on Investment.

The consequences of lack of compliance with authority requirements are potentially devastating to your business and its reputation.

The seminar is a specialist seminar aimed at Senior HR Managers (specialists) who are responsible for expatriate management.

Speakers will be attorneys Thomas Christian Thune and Michael Møller Nielsen, Bech-Bruun and managing director Alan Bentley and Specialist Advisor, Bettina Tang, IPM. There will be time for networking and asking questions to Bech-Bruun and IPM afterwards.

Bech-Bruun and IPM Scandinavia are both members of the Danish Chapter of the Forum for Expatriation Management (FEM).
