Marketing 2012 – the Olympic Games in London and the European Football Championships - Copenhagen
Time and place
10 January 2012 , 3:00 - 5:00, Copenhagen
Speakers: Mikkel Friis Rossa, Lawyer and Darren Meale, Solicitor
The Olympic Games are held in London next summer and, consequently, an updated version of The London Olympic Games and Paraolympic Games (Advertising and Trading) Regulations 2011 has been enacted in England. The set of rules introduces considerable restrictions and very strict rules in respect of marketing activities in London in the months of July, August and September 2012 and a possibility of punishing marketing managers and other executive employees responsible for "ambush marketing".
In that connection, Bech-Bruun has invited Darren Meale, Solicitor with one of London's leading law firms, SNR Denton, to give a speech on the new rules and the "Dos and Don'ts". Mikkel Friis Rossa will also give the participants an update on marketing in Denmark, including issues of specific attention in respect of next summer's European Football Championships.
Target group and lessons
The course is aimed at participants who work with marketing issues on a daily basis, including marketing campaigns in Denmark and/or England. In addition, the course meets the requirements for the compulsory supplementary training of lawyers and amounts to three lessons.
Please note that this course will be held in Danish.
