How to comply with Danish data protection law
With its "Data protection compliance – Pre-audit review", Bech-Bruun launches a new concept that makes data protection compliance in your enterprise or organisation easy and uncomplicated.
The pre-audit review performed by Bech-Bruun's data protection law experts will be presented in a traffic light report, identifying your current level of compliance and listing the areas in which we recommend action to be taken. You may benefit from extending the report to include IT security on your pre-audit list. CSIS, Denmark's leading IT security experts will perform the review.
Data protection law is a complex matter, and we are challenged daily by digital development. Not being able to observe the rules applicable may have immense consequences for your business. In fact, failure to comply with data protection rules is already punishable by fines, and in consideration of the EU's future personal data protection regulation we are likely to incur far larger fines in the future.
Leakage and unauthorised use of data may also lead to significant losses as a result of, for example, a declining image and decreasing numbers of customers, business partners and investors.
Bech-Bruun's "Data protection law compliance – Pre-audit review" is a valuable and hands-on management tool for all types of enterprises and organisations processing personal data.
