Bech-Bruun introduces Advisory Board
The new Advisory Board is designed to facilitate broad market insight and support the agility of Bech-Bruun. Bech-Bruun’s new Advisory Board numbers the three members Eivind Kolding, Jonathan Scott and Poul Skadhede.
The establishment of the Advisory Board is a part of Bech-Bruun’s Strategy 2020, which was launched last year. A main element of the strategy is to ensure that Bech-Bruun to an even higher degree understands the clients’ challenges and needs. With the new Advisory Board, Bech-Bruun wants to be challenged with alternative perspectives and market insight to qualify current and future activities.
“The object is for the new Advisory Board to support the agility of our firm. We must continuously be at the forefront of developments and make sure that we are abreast of the latest trends, challenges and possibilities across the various markets. With the Advisory Board we will gain a sounding board and experience in many important areas. We are very much looking forward to welcoming them, says Jacob Hjortshøj, chairman of Bech-Bruun’s Executive Committee.
The Advisory Board is to contribute with new knowledge, experience and inspiration for Bech-Bruun’s Executive Committee. Accordingly, it has been decisive for the composition of the Board that it has a broad level of expertise. The Advisory Board counts the three members Jonathan Scott, former senior partner and chairman of global law firm Herbert Smith’s Partnership Council, Eivind Kolding, chief executive officer of Novo A/S and Poul Skadhede, Group CEO of the consulting firm Valcon.
“Our objective was to find a total of three profiles capable of together contributing with inspiration from the international legal market, holding extensive board and commercial experience. We are very pleased that we have managed to compose an Advisory Board fully matching this objective,” says Jacob Hjortshøj.
The Advisory Board will participate in Bech-Bruun’s Executive Committee meeting for the first time in March 2016.
