Bech-Bruun contributes to The Insurance and Reinsurance Law Review
Bech-Bruun partner Anne Buhl Bjelke has authored the chapter on Denmark in The Insurance and Reinsurance Law Review, 2nd edition.
The Insurance and Reinsurance Law Review provides an overview of more than 29 countries’ insurance and reinsurance legislation. According to the editor of the publication, Peter Rogan of the law firm Ince & Co, it is hard to overstate the importance of insurance in personal and commercial life.
Anne Buhl Bjelke’s chapter on Denmark methodically and comprehensibly takes you through most aspects of Danish insurance and reinsurance legislation.
Anne Buhl Bjelke rounds off her chapter on Denmark by exploring recent case law and mentions new initiatives that will affect the industry, such as the amended Insurance Mediation Directive (IMD2), the amended Data Protection Directive and the amendments adopted by the Danish Parliament to the rules on appeal to the Supreme Court.
