Bech-Bruun stronger within contract law, IPR and maritime and transport law
On 1 January 2014, Bech-Bruun lawyers Sidsel Marie Kristensen, Johannes Grove Nielsen and Mikkel Friis Rossa become partners.
When the three Bech-Bruun lawyers Sidsel Marie Kristensen, Johannes Grove Nielsen and Mikkel Friis Rossa are made partners on 1 January 2014, Bech-Bruun further strengthens the firm’s competences within the priority areas of contract law, intellectual property rights and maritime and transport law.
Sidsel Marie Kristensen
Sidsel Marie Kristensen specialises in commercial contracts and international legal matters, including large supply agreements, turnkey contracts, Build Operate Transfer agreements and FIDIC contracts. She also has extensive experience in agency and exclusive distribution agreements. Sidsel renders advice to several Danish and international businesses, and she is a member of the Danish Wind Industry Association and Offshore Center Danmark. Sidsel is an experienced lecturer in company law and international legal matters having served as an external lecturer at Aarhus University and from numerous seminars for businesses.
Johannes Grove Nielsen
Johannes Grove Nielsen advises on all aspects of maritime and transport law, including the purchase and sale of vessels and charter party agreements. He also advises on claims due to losses and damage to goods and property carried at sea, on land, or in the air. Johannes is a seasoned litigator with particular experience in the law of damages, general commercial law disputes and insolvency. He assists large Danish and international commercial clients, including shipping companies, P&I clubs and insurance companies. Johannes is part of Bech-Bruun's Cross-Border Insolvency Shipping Team and has extensive experience in the American Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 rules. He is the only practising lawyer specialising in maritime law in Denmark having obtained an MBA in Shipping & Logistics from CBS Copenhagen Business School.
Mikkel Friis Rossa
Mikkel Friis Rossa has extensive experience in IPR contracts, the drafting and implementation of IPR strategies and compliance programmes as well as clearing of marketing campaigns, including advice on general food law matters. Mikkel advises several large Danish and international businesses on franchising and licences, and he has extensive experience in trademarks, copyright, patents, designs and infringement of intellectual property rights. He holds an LLM in IPR from the Queen Mary University of London. He is a seasoned seminar lecturer and has extensive experience from Aarhus University teaching marketing law and copyright.
