Bech-Bruun still M&A market leader
Bech-Bruun continues to lead the M&A market concludes a new Mergermarket report summarising M&A activities in Denmark for the first six months of 2013.
Having assisted clients in 20 large transactions Bech-Bruun takes a joint first based on the number of transactions.
The ranking owes to, among others, NorgesGruppen’s acquisition of shares in Dagrofa, Altor’s sale of the Euro Cater group, the sale of Sparekassen Lolland to Jyske Bank and Montague’s sale of Logstor.
According to Mergermarket, the European M&A market saw an overall decrease in the number of transactions, though with a slight increase in the second quarter of 2013. The market was primarily dominated by transactions within the energy sector (energy, mining and utilities) and the TMT sector (IT, media and telecommunications).
In 2012, Bech-Bruun acted as legal advisor on more transactions than any of its Nordic peers. Please read more about last year's ranking.
