Håkun Djurhuus made partner of Bech-Bruun Law Firm
The leading environmental law lawyer and partner of Lind Cadovius Law Firm Håkun Djurhuus will join the partner group of Bech-Bruun Law Firm at the beginning of 2012, where he will play an important role in the Public Law practice group. It is all part of Bech-Bruun's overall growth strategy focusing on primarily Public Law and business areas such as the environment, infrastructure, energy and climate.
Håkun is one of Denmark's most prominent lawyers within environmental law, and a highly experienced litigator. Håkun is accompanied by a team of five employees who are also specialised in public law and litigation.
In collaboration with Håkun Djurhuus and his team, Bech-Bruun's Public Law practice group, will accommodate the increasing demand for advisory services within the area of environmental and public law from both public authorities and private companies.

Håkun Djurhuus holds a Master of Law degree from Aarhus University, obtained his licence to practise law in 1992, was granted a right of audience before the Danish Supreme Court in 1998 and is furthermore a certified arbitrator. Håkun Djurhuus is a member of a large number of committees on environmental law, the author of a vast amount of articles and books as well as a regular lecturer and expert speaker.
