Michael Serring specialises in insolvency law and advises, among others, banks on the management of complex and distressed securities.

Michael's particular niche is advising on limited partnerships, including matters relating to limited partners and the limited partnerships' lenders.

He has substantial experience with debt collection, including the uncovering of mislaid assets and is currently, or has been, trustee of more than one thousand estates in bankruptcy.

Michael has conducted numerous cases before the ordinary Danish courts and the Danish bankruptcy courts, including many pioneering cases on insolvency matters, and cases on management responsibility. He is, moreover, a seasoned lecturer.

The team assisted Sparekassen Lolland with various restructurings, culminating in its transfer to Jyske Bank, and advised Israeli creditors on the restructuring of Elro Group. Other clients include FlexaGroup and Carl Wine.
