Johannes Grove Nielsen advises on all aspects of maritime and transport law, including the purchase and sale of vessels and charter party agreements. He also advises on claims due to losses and damage to goods and property carried at sea, on land, or in the air. Johannes is a seasoned litigator with particular experience in the law of damages, general commercial law disputes and insolvency.

He assists large Danish and international commercial clients, including shipping companies, P&I clubs and insurance companies. Johannes is part of Bech-Bruun's Cross-Border Insolvency Shipping Team and has extensive experience in the American Chapter 11 and Chapter 15 rules. He is the first practising lawyer specialising in maritime law in Denmark having obtained an MBA in Shipping & Logistics from CBS Copenhagen Business School.
