Henrik Valdorf specialises primarily in dispute resolution in the areas of the law of damages and commercial law. For more than 30 years, he has conducted countless court and arbitration proceedings, including approx. 50 cases before the Supreme Court. He has in particular advised insurance companies in Denmark and abroad on all types of insurance coverage disputes and liability insurance, including cases on professional indemnity and product liability, professional liability, all risks insurance, construction law as well as transport law issues.

In recent years, Henrik has advised on numerous substantial cases in the wind turbine sector and on project liability in the construction sector. In addition, he argues in most types of cases relating to liability in damages and contractual liability.

Henrik acts as arbitrator and mediator and in 2012, he was the first European arbitrator to be registered as an arbitrator in China. In 2015, he was appointed as certified arbitrator by Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (“SHIAC”) as well as by the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (”SCIA”).
