Erik Malberg advises Danish and foreign businesses on bankruptcy and insolvency law and the representation of creditors. He has acted as trustee of some of the largest bankruptcy estates in Denmark in recent years.
His advice encompasses, matters relating to distressed businesses and all aspects of the administration of bankruptcy estates, including ongoing trading, the negotiation and sale of assets, proceedings for the avoidance of antecedent transactions, the administration of receivables and company charges, etc.
Erik represents a large number of shareholders and creditors, in particular, financial institutions.
Finally, he advises on, and conducts legal proceedings concerning, general business law.

The ‘highly recommended’ Erik Malberg, Michael Serring, and Ole Borch are appointed receivers at Copenhagen Bankruptcy Court. The team assisted Sparekassen Lolland with various restructurings, culminating in its transfer to Jyske Bank, and advised Israeli creditors on the restructuring of Elro Group. Other clients include FlexaGroup and Carl Wine.
