Håkun Djurhuus specialises in environmental law, public law, dispute resolution (court and arbitration cases) and construction law.

Håkun Djurhus heads Bech-Bruun's environmental team and its agriculture and food business team.

He is a seasoned litigator having conducted hundreds of cases before the Danish courts, including the Supreme Court, the Building and Construction Arbitration Board and ad hoc and institutional arbitration tribunals. Håkun also serves as an arbitrator.

Moreover, Håkun is in strong demand as a speaker and lecturer.

Håkun has been awarded several honorary scholarships and twice received 'Sagførernes Auktioners Legat', a Danish auction house grant.

He successfully represented Metroselskabet in a Supreme Court case regarding liability for costs incurred in rerouting pipelines around the Cityringen metro construction site.
