One cannot give one answer to the question, as to what it is like being an associate at Bech-Bruun. The answer is very individual and depends upon the associate in question and the department he/she sits in.
The longer associates are employed with us, the more specialised they become in a particular legal discipline. Associates have independent contact with clients and participate in the firm's business development. In addition, they provide added value advice on a professional and personal level and are responsible for educating and assisting the professional development of our students, secretaries and junior associates.
Bech-Bruun offers its associates the opportunity of secondment, as well as participation in legal summer schools and talent development programmes. After 6-7 years of experience as an associate, they have the opportunity to become enrolled on our partnership track with the intention of becoming a partner in the firm.
