In the transition between financial crisis and a more balanced economy, there is, however, a risk of stagnation, which may delay the property market's revival. At Bech-Bruun, ‘competent, committed’ practice head Torben Schøn and Andreas Antoniades assisted MGPA Europe Fund III LLP with the DKK1.5bn acquisition of Illum department store. Lars Kjær advised Aareal Bank AG, Helaba and Nykredit on the sale and refinancing of three property companies, which own the Magasin department stores. Thomas Stampe acted for Nordic Choice Hospitality Group on the sale of its Danish hotels portfolio.
