Construction Law

Challenges and requirements

The construction industry is again showing signs of improvement. A significant number of public construction projects are to be implemented and there is an increasing focus on new ways of organising them, for example, via public private partnerships. Projects executed by public private partnerships require, however, extensive knowledge of the particular legal and financial issues which arise, when this construction form is employed. There is, in addition, a greater focus on sustainable buildings and an expectation that such buildings can be certified as "green buildings". Specialist knowledge of the new norms and rules which apply in relation to the construction of sustainable buildings is, likewise, imperative when advising industry actors today.
