Competition law

Complying with Danish and EU competition rules can be a challenging task. Nonetheless, the trend is towards penalising infringements of these rules increasingly severely.

How can we help
For more than 20 years we have helped our clients in competition law matters. We are highly experienced in merger approval applications and in evaluating agreements and conduct in cases where companies are accused of infringing competition rules. We also have expert competences to help business pursue compensation in the fast-developing field of civil lawsuits.

We always integrate the economic aspects of a case into our legal advice, which is particularly valuable in large compensation cases, and cases concerning merger control and abuse of a dominant position.

To help our clients navigate in competition law aspects and avoid wrongdoings, we regularly develop and offer compliance programmes and training sessions that address common competition law issues.

Our competences include:
• Cartel investigations
• Cooperation and distribution agreements
• Price structure, discount and bonus systems
• Abuse of dominant position
• Conduct of cases before the competition authorities, the European courts and the Danish courts
• Compensation cases
• Undertakings with special and exclusive rights
