  • Establishment of public utility companies
  • Legal framework of municipalities
  • State enterprises.

How can we help?
We specialise in every regulatory field of relevance to public authorities. For example environmental law, infrastructure, climate issues and public-private partnerships and cooperation.

It is a key priority to help our clients anticipating and thereby minimising any potential risk or challenge.

We represent municipalities regions as well as joint municipal companies, state enterprises and private businesses in matters pertaining to all aspects of public law.

Our public sector team has in-depth knowledge of the current legal issues of concern to the public sector. We understand the landscape in which public authorities with a political support base operate, also when such public authorities enter into cooperation agreements and contracts of a private law character.

Common challenges
Public authorities are faced with a variety of challenges. However, common to them all is the need to increase efficiency levels, improve the quality of services and to implement imposed cutbacks. As a result, the need for better employment of resources is increasing.

Moreover, in the aftermath of the municipal reform in 2007, many public authorities experience a need for specialised legal advice.
