Legal homework when you go to China
For several decades, China has been known as the “worldwide factory”, and most large international companies have already set their footprint in China, typically not only in one place, but in several regions.
An increasing number of foreign companies realize that China is an enormous potential consumer market with a vast growth potential. Yet, we are often met with the comment “It is not easy!”. And they are right; It is not easy. Not even for Chinese business people who speak Chinese and who are familiar with Chinese culture.
But if you do your homework and prepare your entrance carefully, your entrance will be smoother and the chance of success greater.
Head of Chinese Desk Rachel Cao and partner Monica Reib will speak at this year’s ‘Doing Business in China’ seminar at CBS addressing this topic .
