Department head Jes Anker Mikkelsen specialises in disputes related to maritime and insurance law. He represented the accountants of an insurance company against two professional liability lawsuits, and has been appointed as an arbitrator of the China Maritime Arbitration Commission.

Carsten Pedersen is praised by clients for his skill in contract and insurance cases, with one affirming: "He is our preferred attorney in Denmark for these types of dispute." He successfully represented the former board of Memory Card Technology before the Danish Supreme Court.

Jes Anker Mikkelsen has a particular focus on maritime and insurance law disputes, particularly cargo losses, transportation insurance and P&I claims. He was part of a team which advised numerous claimants, including several large shipping companies and P&I clubs on actions related to the bankruptcy of OW Bunker. Clients reference his "strength in litigation and broad range of knowledge," including "how to strategically position yourself in court cases."
